The Milwaukee Mile staff, which is eagerly anticipating showing off the significant new upgrades to the track from the off-season, including new grandstands and garage facilities, is looking forward to hosting the top three levels of the Champ Car Ladder System.

"As a driver development series, it is essential to expose Barber Dodge Pro Series competitors to all types of challenges that they will face in upcoming years," said Sewell."With the inclusion of the Milwaukee race, they now complete their portfolio of natural road course, temporary street circuit, and oval."

The Barber Dodge Pro Series will make use of Michelin Pilot SX tires which have been engineered specifically for use on one-mile tracks. The tire will be similar in compound to the one utilized when the Pro Series visited ovals previously, but it will reflect the knowledge gained at those tracks to provide the drivers with a stable and adhesive tire for use during the weekend.
