Steve Sewell of Hawgwild Charters took his wife, Tanya, and daughter Tosha beach fishing for snook north of Wiggins Pass where Tosha lost her first four before boating a brace of 7-pounders on pigfish.Tosha sight-fished a 12-pound cobia that took a pinfish just inside Big Carlos Pass on Sunday.

    Victor Dimes also caught two snook to 31 inches north of Demere Key, plus several trout to 26 off the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge tossing sardines with Capt. Sewell in Pine Island Sound, according to Reels Inc. in Estero.

    Capt. Steve Sewell of HawgWild Charters in Bonita Springs fished with Bonitan Victor Dimes on Saturday.He brought his son, Devon Dimes, Omar Gutierrez, Will Batley and Cody Gunn, all from Bonita Springs Charter School.Sewell took them to 35 feet of water, four miles off Captiva Pass.They used 3-inch whitebaits and caught well over 100 fish and 10 different species, including blacktip sharks, gag grouper, red grouper, mangrove snapper, blue runners, amberjacks, ladyfish, Spanish mackerel, bonita and tripletail.

    As they were pulling the anchor to come in, Cody Gunn spotted something in some grass floating by the boat and it turned out to be a tripletail.Sewell grabbed a 6 pound rod and threw a whitebait to him and handed the rod to Omar Gutierrez.
