Capt. Steve Sewell of HawgWild Charters in Bonita Springs fished with Bonitan Victor Dimes on Saturday. He brought his son, Devon Dimes, Omar Gutierrez, Will Batley and Cody Gunn, all from Bonita Springs Charter School.Sewell took them to 35 feet of water, four miles off Captiva Pass. They used 3-inch whitebaits and caught well over 100 fish and 10 different species, including blacktip sharks, gag grouper, red grouper, mangrove snapper, blue runners, amberjacks, ladyfish, Spanish mackerel, bonita and tripletail.
As they were pulling the anchor to come in, Cody Gunn spotted something in some grass floating by the boat and it turned out to be a tripletail.Sewell grabbed a 6 pound rod and threw a whitebait to him and handed the rod to Omar Gutierrez.

"Since he won, he wanted Omar to catch it," said Sewell.
