    Skye is a Brisbane based performer and choreographer with a Batchelor of Theatre from James Cook University and an Associate Degree in Dance from the Queensland University of Technology.Skye was an associate lecturer in the Batchelor of Theatre Degree at JCU and has worked with dance and drama students throughout QLD and the ACT.After two years as Tour Manager and performer for Expressions, Dance in Education Team, Skye spent six months at The Australian Choreographic Centre working closely with Ruth Osborne.

    In 2005/06 Skye appeared in PopTrash, The Factory, Mod Cons and Sweatshop choreographed by Claire Marshall, and was commissioned to create new youth works for Extensions Youth Dance Company, Expressions Dance Company and the Australian Choreographic Centre.

    In September 2006 Skye performed at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in the machine that carries the soul, a work she co-created as part of Phluxus Dance Collective.Most recently Skye featured in the John Butler Trio's 'Funky Tonight' film clip produced and directed by Head Pictures.

    Skye began her contemporary dance training in North Queensland with Extensions - the youth link to Dance North - while studying for her Bachelor of Theatre from James Cook University.After teaching in the Theatre Movement Program at JCU she relocated to Brisbane to study dance full-time at the Queensland University of technology.Skye has since worked extensively throughout the Brisbane area teaching workshops for dance and drama students.Skye was the Tour Manager for the Expressions Education Team which toured primary and secondary schools for the Queensland Arts Council.Skye relocated to Canberra in July 2004 to take up a position at the Australian Choreographic Centre.
