Ms. Sewell worked as Parent Involvement Coordinator, providing parent training, staff training, self assessment and policy council training. Since 2000 she has served as director of several programs within the agency providing services and advocacy that support low income initiatives.

Recently she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. She has extensive experience in grant management and budget development, program planning, organizational structure and systematic reviews. The position was created to to strengthen program compliance, grant management and service delivery. In this role Sewell is responsible for the day to day operations of the agency inclusive of those areas of concentration.

A Natchez native, Sewell has one son. She is an active member of the Wilderness Baptist Church and enjoys spiritually enriching activities.
