"We need to send strong messages to people who work with youth that it is absolutely unacceptable to force young girls and women to fit a narrow definition of what it means to be a woman."

"As far as I am concerned, she is being unfairly treated simply because of her sex, which is still a violation of Title IX," said Sewell.
