Carrie Severson began her writing career at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.She worked as a Reporter and Managing Editor at the State Press student paper at ASU while attending classes.She graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in photography and theater in May 2000.She immediately went to work for a national trade publication called Corporate Logo where she fine-tuned her feature writing style.After writing for the business magazine for two years, she was approached with an opportunity that allowed her to develop her creative writing.In March 2002 she was hired by an independent investor to write a feature film script.She completed several drafts of the script and is now trying to sell it as a Movie of the Week.She devoted herself to creative writing and screenwriting classes, conferences and seminars all over Arizona.While developing her creative writing she dove back into magazine writing.Carrie currently freelances for a dozen local and national publications, such as ITEM, Science and Theology News and bizAZ Magazine.She writes on everything from fashion to business.
Brian and Carrie met in May 2004 where they formed a fast friendship and partnership.
