His wife, Donna F. (Dunn) Seiler, whom he married Sept. 1, 1951, preceded him in death on Sept. 20, 2000.He is survived by his sons: Barry E. Seiler, Thompsontown; William P. Seiler and his wife, Kathy, R.R.#2, McAlisterville; brothers and sisters, Glenn E. Seiler and wife, Beulah, Homosassa, Fla.; Paul E. Seiler and wife, Daisy, R.R. #3, Mifflintown; Mrs. Paul (Doris) Bowen, New Cumberland; Mrs. William (Marian) Zeiders, McAlisterville; Kay Sheaffer, Shamokin Dam; and four grandchildren.He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, and one brother, Larry R. Seiler, on Dec. 17, 2003.He was a 1948 graduate of Thompsontown High School and he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.In his early life, he worked for Precision Ware, Thompsontown.Later, he retired from Dodson Enterprises, Selinsgrove, and during his retirement, he worked for his son, William P. Seiler Construction, McAlisterville.He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, McAlisterville, and he was renown for his passion for baking.His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2005, from the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, McAlisterville, with his pastor, the Rev. James Park Bricker and Intern Pastor Erin Bovendam officiating.
