   David Seifert is vice president, supply chain for ATOFINA Chemicals, Inc. Prior to this, Seifert was vice president, information systems & technology and chief information officer.
   
   He is a member of the company's executive committee. Seifert has more than 20 years of experience in the chemical industry. Prior to his current assignment, he served as general manager of specialty chemicals for ATOFINA Chemicals, Inc. (formerly Elf Atochem North America, Inc.) helping to manage the company's transition from primarily a commodity chemicals company to its current focus as a specialty chemicals supplier. He also served as business manager for mineral products. Seifert joined M&T Chemicals, a predecessor company, in 1986 as manager of financial analysis.
   
   Seifert holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

   David Seifert was elected vice president, information systems & technology and chief information officer for ATOFINA Chemicals, Inc. as announced today by President and CEO Jean-Pierre Seeuws.
