Our Executive Committee member, Amira Seif El-Din (Professor in Alexandria, Egypt), is the organizing secretary and has done marvelous work in preparing this meeting which is meant to develop a forum for exchange of the available information on child and adolescent mental health services in the region and to establish focal points in different countries to promote child and adolescent mental health.The meeting is sponsored by the Foundation for Children and Adolescents (of which our Executive Committee member Ernesto Caffor is president), the WHO, the Egyptian Society of Psychiatry and, of course, IACAPAP.
