Matthew, the son of Dr. & Mrs. Scott Seier of Williamsville, N.Y. and Gregory, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Tanski of Kenmore, are two of approximately 16,000 semifinalists named this year who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies.

At St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, Matthew is a member of the Varsity Football team, as well as the Varsity Track and Field team.

This year, Matthew is undertaking three (3) Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Physics, Calculus and European History.
