   In his current position Rainer Seider is Head of Division for International City Relations and Asia-Pacific Weeks in the Ministry (Senatskanzlei) of the Governing Mayor of Berlin.
   
   Since 1993 he has worked for the Senate of Berlin in the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Technology, in the Office of Berlin towards the European Community in Brussels and - since 1995 - in the Ministry of the Governing Mayor.
   
   He is member of the board of the Asia-Pacific Forum Berlin (APFB).
   
   Rainer Seider teaches and examines in European Law for the second law degree.
   
   Born in Nohfelden/Saarland (Germany) on 06.08.1963 Rainer Seider studied law, political sciences and history at Bonn and Geneva Universities. He received his first law degree in 1987, his Doctorate in Political Sciences in 1990 at Bonn University and his second law degree in 1993 in Berlin.
