Rabbi Dr. Jonathan Seidel received his Ph.D. at UC Berkeley in Near Eastern Studies, and has taught Judaic Studies at several universities, including Stanford,Berkeley, U. of Arizona, and Portland State, He has served as spiritual leader of several Jewish communities,and has served as a board member of the Southern Arizona Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life and the Northwest Jewish Environmental Project.He currently teaches courses on the intersection of Spirit, Wilderness and Judaism, and serves as the leader of Or haGan synagogue in Eugene, Oregon.
