    Doyle Seiber is an individual that has become well known as an ambassador of Isshin-Ryu around the world. He has taught many seminars for people across the United States. These seminars included students, senseis, and masters of multiple styles of martial arts. He is a member of multiple Isshin-Ryu organizations in an attempt to bring Isshinryu karate-ka back together. Mr. Seiber is well respected by non-martial artists as well as those within the martial arts community. He holds seminars at his dojo with masters of Isshinryu as well as other styles. He has trained many fine karate-ka that have been recognized various hall of fame boards. People that he has worked with have brought Isshinryu karate up to new levels.

    Mr. Seiber has stepped forward and assumed the responsibilities of being a leader in Isshinryu. Whenever asked to assist with any task no matter how big or how small, he has met the task with a positive attitude and a desire to do the best job possible.

    Mr. Seiber is an individual that demonstrates a high degree of personal integrity, dignity, and honor. He has been involved in Isshinryu for over 3 decades and an Instructor of Isshinryu for over 20 years. He is currently a Roku-Dan in Isshinryu. He currently has two dojos under his instruction training methods. He is the chief instructor of the Doyle Seiber School of Isshinryu Karate; formally the Oak Ridge Academy of Martial Arts and over sees the training materials of the Academy's second dojo, the Lewis School of Isshinryu Karate.

    His teaching has gained him and Isshinryu worldwide attention. He has traveled to many countries teaching and spreading Isshinryu. Many Halls of Fame have recognized him.

    Doyle Seiber began his studies in the martial arts in the late 1970's. A friend Paula Trail knowing that Mr. Seiber studied the martial arts informed him that one of her family members was teaching karate. The location was just slightly over one mile from his home making it easier to attend classes if he could get enrolled. Seiber, accompanied by Leslie Melton and Robert Van Norstrum attended their first class of Isshinryu karate at the Larry Jones School of Karate under the instruction of Larry Harris and Gary Lester.
