Ellen could definitely be characterized as a mamboholic.She grew up in the archipelago of Stockholm and started dancing ballet at The Academy of Ballet in Stockholm at the age of 4.

As a youngster, Ellen played the French horn at the local music school and even studied music at Södra Latin, a well-known school in Stockholm.

It was in the early 2000 that Ellen started dancing Salsa and she got hooked from the first step since then!She started dancing Cuban style salsa before moving to Spain where she continued dancing and learned rumba, cha-cha and bachata.Coming back to Stockholm the following year Ellen took LA Style classes at Club Latino and also became a part of the Cuban dance group Iré Iré, lead by the choreographer Barbara Pérez from Cuba.
