Frida and Peter are both extremely inspiring and charismatic as dancers and now they will be teaching together.

Frida Segerdahl is a member of the Swedish Harlem Hot Shots (HHS) that does not need a great deal of introduction in the Lindy Hop community.Then teaching, show dancing or dancing socially Frida will always draw everyone's attention by being extremely rhythmic and energetic.

We are lucky enough to have two of the members of the HHS, Frida and Sakarias with us in January for a jazz dance and lindy hop workshop.

Most of you have probably seen or heard of Frida in one way or another.Feisty, energetic, explosive!Frida Segerdahl might be the smallest member of the Hot Shots but there's no way that you'll miss this red-haired wild woman once she's sprung into action.Frida started dancing at the tender age of 5 and during her teens she was enrolled in the dance program at Sturegymnasiet studying jazz, modern and ballet and much more.Since the age of 9 Frida started competing in Double Bugg and Boogie Woogie and although she was a champion at both, she hungered for more. When she was 15 she attended Herrang Dance Camp and fell in love with Lindy Hop.Frida excelled quickly, drawing on her knowledge of body movement and connection that she mastered in other dances.In no time, she was asked to join the world's foremost jazz dance company, the Rhythm Hot Shots. In addition to her performance skill, many have rated Frida as one of the best social dancers in the world.

Tallest member of the Hot Shots, at 1 m 88cm Sakarias partners with Frida, the shortest Hot Shot.He may be a top notch Lindy Hopper and performer but Sakarias has a secret dream to be a Pacific Ocean surfer in a sexy wet suit and says that "he would leave Frida mid swing out" to catch a wave if he could.Though other days, he would also like to be an astronaut.Go figure. Sakarias' calm and collected style is the perfect complement to Frida's fireball-like energy.Frida and Sakarias make a dynamite combination of energy and talent.

Frida Segerdahl is making the return visit that we've been hanging out for since she impacted Perth in 2003.Frida is one of the most exciting and talented Lindy Hoppers in the world today, with her feisty and energetic style.She may be the smallest member of the Hot Shots but there's no way that you'll miss her once she's sprung into action.

Catrine Ljunggren is one of the original members of the legendary Rhythm Hot Shots.She learned from - among others - Al Minns and Frankie Manning, both members of Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in the 1930's.Catrine is known for her energy: she likes to dance fast and fly high.

Elliott Donnelley wears many hats.He is a member and founding director of the San Francisco based dance troupe Loose Change, he is a respected and successful organizer and he has produced several CDs including the Barbara Morrison: Live at the 920 Special album.Working with Catrine, he has also become known as an enthusiastic and energetic teacher and performer of the Lindy Hop.

Catrine and Elliott have taught at a number of camps and workshops in and outside of the U.S.Most recently, they have taught together at the Melbourne Lindy Exchange in Australia, the Oakland Swing Dance Festival, Swingin'Spring in Sweden, The Frankie XC cruise, and at the Herrang Dance Camp.Elliott met Catrine in 1998, Catrine met Elliott in 2001 (or at least that is the first time he appeared on her radar screen).Together they have become known for their enthusiasm and energetic style of dance that is inspired by the type of dancing seen in early clips of the Harvest Moon Ball.

I am very happy to announce that Mike Faltesek and Frida Segerdahl are coming to Colorado for workshops Sept 11-12!!!

Frida Segerdahl is a member of the world famous Harlem Hot Shots (formerly the Rhythm Hot Shots) and in my opinion (most dancers would agree) the best follow in the world...I like to refer to her as the chosen one.She is also an organizer and instructor for the Herrang dance camp (a month long dance camp in Sweden).
