Edo Segal brings to eNow a unique perspective on the power and potential of Real-Time Communications coupled with Artificial Intelligence technologies.His experience ranges from hardcore technology in the AI domain to media production and marketing.This understanding of both the technology and media business uniquely qualifies him to lead eNow.As the company's CEO, Mr. Segal oversees the strategic direction of the company and its promise to transform the way people get informed by information as it is published around the globe in real time.Prior to founding eNow in 1999, Mr. Segal was involved in a range of technology, new media and film projects.He co-founded two interactive agencies, producing award-winning products distributed by Apple Computer, Electronic Arts, GT Interactive and Softkey.In addition, Mr. Segal was involved with the conceptualization stage of BackWeb Technologies.His work has been recognized with several international awards and has been featured in books covering the evolution of the interactive field."Using huge archives to deal with our information is no longer an option, there is too much of it and not enough time.If we don't move into real time, if we can't deal with the information as it is created, our decision processes will atrophy and our businesses will become extinct."Born in Jerusalem, Mr. Segal now lives in New York City where eNow is headquartered.He works closely with eNow's R&D center in Tel Aviv.
