Douglas S. Segal Special Counsel
Douglas S. Segal is senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP.Mr. Segal is a member of the firm's Family Law Practice, specializing in divorce and custody, family disputes and prenuptial agreements.
Previously, Mr. Segal was a was a senior attorney at Epstein, Becker & Green's Boston office.
Mr. Segal counsels individuals in many areas of family law, including divorces, paternity actions, custody disputes, modification and enforcement of judgments, prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements, and property and custody disputes involving non-traditional families.
He also has experience with negotiating and litigating complex family law matters, including issues of property division, spousal and child support, and custody and parenting plans; and drafting prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements.
Mr. Segal is a graduate of Yale Law School (J.D., 1980).He earned a M.A. from the University of Michigan (Asian studies, 1976) and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1974.
He is a member of the family law section of the Massachusetts Bar Association.Mr. Segal is admitted to practice in California and Massachusetts.
