Marggie Seelye, Past President
Marggie was born and raised in Pekin and graduated from PCHS in 1975. In 1979 she received a B.S. degree from Illinois State University. Following graduation, Marggie worked in Spring Valley until moving to Peoria to manage the Flower Box. In 1989 she came home to Pekin to manage, and in 1991, purchased, the family business -- the Greenhouse Flower Shoppe. Marggie has served as Chairman of the Illinois State Florists Association's Education Committee and chaired the ISFA Annual Spring Conference. Active with Pekin Kiwanis Club, the Pekin YWCA Board of Directors and the Pekin Hospital Foundation's Annual Ball, she is also on the Chamber's Annual Dinner Committee.
