Pam Scott Picture
Both a mother and a grandmother, Pam found Christ as her Savior at the age of 31.She began working in the Special Investigation Unit for the County of Ventura in 1990 and has gained many insights into the protocols and pitfalls on the "inside."Pursuing a lifelong dream, for service, she took Bethany Bible College Extension courses and was ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliace in May 1997.
In addition to her secular job, Pam has volunteered with Prison Fellowship, Free Behind Bars, South Coast Prison Ministry and Women's Aglow Prison Ministry. She is a member of Community Presbyterial Church where she serves on the Missions Committee, Prayer Committee and facilitates a weekly evening Bible study.
Pam's desire is to work with women in prison and to that end she is in touch with the Protestant Chaplains at both Chowchilla and the California Institution for Women to determine where she will work as a Yard Pastor. She will be busy these next few months speaking to churches and civic groups in search of financial support.Leave a message for her at 805-652-7859 if you'd like her to speak to your group.
