Pam Scott
Pam Scott spent 22 years ministering to the incarcerated.She was ordained by the Evangelical Church of Alliance in 1997, and completed her courses at Bethany Bible College.In 1999 she served as the chaplain to 1,000 women at California Rehabilitation Center.Wanting to help the women to break the cycle of returning to the prison (2/3 of the women released are re-arrested within three years), she felt she could best serve in the capacity of re-entry and left the prison in 2002.Today she is the chaplain and director of Day-Break Ministries, an aftercare ministry helping women transition from prison or jail, back into the community of Ventura County.Day-Break Ministries has its offices in the Poinsettia Pavilion, and offers guidance and assistance with the many challenges faced by ex-offenders.Pam is currently residing in Ventura, is the mother of three grown children and the grandmother of four.
