Marty has been a massage therapist since 1997 and started his sole practice in 1998.It was due to his own back injury from a motorcycle accident and the help from a massage therapist that made Marty interested in becoming a massage therapist himself."Massage did for me what medical doctors and chiropractors could not, heal my injury".Marty comes from a medical background working with large medical groups and insurance companies. His sole purpose is to make people feel good again, stress free, tension free, mentally and physically refreshed and capable. Marty became a massage instructor in 2001 after experiencing quite a lot of so, so many massages from long time therapists."There are therapeutic massages and there is what I call fluff and buff massages.Although its nice to get a fluff and buff every once in a while, most people truly need the more therapeutic (physical) massage."Marty set off to instruct individuals on how to perform massages in a truly therapeutic manner.Marty has taught at three well known state approved massage therapy schools in Houston. He has trained over 200 students to become professional massage therapists.Marty belongs to numerous alternative health networks including but not limited to; American Specialty Health Network, Healing Arts Network (HAN), De Los Mind & Body Institute, United Health Providers, etc.He is a member of the Texas Association of Massage Therapist (TAMT) and the International Massage Association (IMA).
