Schwartz of Trumbull, president and CEO of The Kennedy Center, a community-based vocational rehabilitation organization serving more than 1,500 individuals annually, recently received international recognition from CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
  
  Schwartz, a longtime member of Congregation B'nai Israel in Bridgeport, was presented with a 25-year service award as a surveyor by CARF president and CEO Brian J. Boon, CARF President at the Annual CARF Surveyor Training in Tucson, Ariz.
