Dr. Schwartz earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey, where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar.Following this, he attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and was awarded the Johnson and Johnson Scholarship.Dr. Schwartz residency training includes an internship at Philadelphia General Hospital.In addition, he completed two years of military service at Newport Naval Hospital in Newport, Rhode Island.Dr. Schwartz is fully board-certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Schwartz and his wife Darlene have one daughter, Alixe.
