Marshall L. Schwartz, Esquire Obtains Defense Verdict For A Surgeon In Montgomery County, PA Marshall L. Schwartz, Esquire recently obtained a defense verdict in a Montgomery County case in which the plaintiff alleged negligence when his bladder was perforated by a surgeon performing a laparoscopic appendectomy. Plaintiff maintained that if the surgery had been done properly, his bladder would not have been injured.

Marshall L. Schwartz Mr. Schwartz was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. After graduating from Germantown Academy, he received his B.S. from Elmira College and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law.

Mr. Schwartz has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation including mediation, arbitration and trial. Additionally, Mr. Schwartz has experience in mass tort litigation including orthopedic bone screw, silicone breast implants, and fen-phen. Currently, he is trial counsel in medical malpractice, nursing home, and commercial matters. He has presented lectures to medical students on various aspects of medical malpractice.
