A.J. Schreiber, the outgoing Chorus president and CEO will remain as a consultant to Chorus during the initial months of the transition. The Foundation will provide advisory services to Chorus and CySolutions during a transition period following the acquisition.

"CySolutions delivers products and services that complement those now offered by Chorus," said Schreiber.

President and CEO A.J. Schreiber says Chorus can continue to serve customers while simultaneously saving $400,000 a year simply by closing its 15,000 square feet of office space. Sure, breaking leases and telecom contracts is costing the company money, but the long-term savings far outweigh those short-term costs, says Schreiber. "We wouldn't have done this if it would have had a negative impact on our ability to serve customers," he adds.

A.J. Schreiber directs all MDSERVE operations including development, implementation and training, customer service and support and infrastructure management.

It is a position for which his past experience as a Chief Information Officer of a large New York HMO and as an executive of regional healthcare organizations makes him exceptionally well qualified.A.J. understands customers' IT needs and issues.

Prior to joining MDSERVE, A.J. headed the RSM McGladrey, Inc. (formerly American Express Tax and Business Services) Healthcare Technology Consulting Practice where he led healthcare organizations of varying sizes and stages of development through the information technology strategic planning, system selection and implementation processes.His services ensured their IT initiatives met their business needs and resulted in greater efficiency and increased return on investment.

In addition, A.J. has extensive experience in systems procurement, project management, telecommunications and application design and development.He is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences and his articles on healthcare trends and technology have appeared in a variety of healthcare publications.
