Mary Lynne Schoenbeck, career counselor and life planning coach, has 15 + years' experience helping individuals and groups in personal and professional growth.In her independent consulting practice in Los Altos, Ms Schoenbeck - conducts career development, self-assessment, and job search strategy workshops - facilitates Support Groups and Success Teams - encourages and supports people to identify, create and move into their ideal careers.She retired from Stanford where she held positions at the Career Development Center and Alliance for Innovative Manufacturing (AIM), the dual degree program for the Stanford Graduate School of Business and School of Engineering.She consulted at the Career Action Center until its recent closure.Ms. Schoenbeck is co-founder of the Third Age Coalition, a group of Greater Bay Area career professionals dedicated to helping people 50 + explore their life options and design and implement plans for purposeful and satisfying lives.She spoke at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), November, 2001 in Seattle, and will present at the ICDC, November, 2002 in Irvine, CA.
