STANLEY SCHOENBAUMBorn in Richmond, Virginia (1925), Mr. Schoenbaum has practiced law in San Antonio since 1958, specializing in federal tax matters and estate planning.He is a founding shareholder of SC&S.He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law and in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.Mr. Schoenbaum earned a B.A. from the University of Richmond (1947), an LL.B. from the University of Virginia (1949) and an LL.M. In 1950, Stanley Schoenbaum became one of the first graduates of the master's program in taxation at New York University School of Law.In 1958, after serving in the Office of the Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service as a trial attorney in the Atlanta District and as a special attorney in the Legislation and Regulations Division of the IRS National Office in Washington, D.C., Mr. Schoenbaum moved to San Antonio to begin the private practice of law specializing in tax matters.
