    Marian Schneider

    Marian Rosalie (Siegrist) Schneider, 90, of Greeley died Sunday, Aug. 14, at Bonell Good Samaritan Community, Greeley, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's and complications from a broken hip.

    She was born Aug. 20, 1914, in Greeley to Ralph Glendon and Minnie Christina McEwen.

    On May 20, 1937, she married Frank Raymond "Pat" Siegrist in Brush.He is deceased.

    Mrs. Schneider graduated from Colorado State Teachers College, now the University of Northern Colorado, with a bachelor's degree and a teaching certificate.She taught for the Denver Public Schools for many years, and was a substitute teacher for the Northglenn Public Schools until she retired.When her daughters were young, she was a Girl Scouts troop leader.She was a member of the Methodist Church and active in AARP, Thornton Senior Citizens and the American Association of University Women.
