John A. Schneider, M.D. specializes in taking care of injuries involving the hand, elbow and shoulder in both pediatric and adult patients using non-operative and operative techniques. A native of the Milwaukee area, Dr. Schneider graduated from Marquette University and completed his medical school education at The Medical College of Wisconsin. He went on to perform his training in Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the Creighton University/University of Nebraska Orthopedic Residency Program where he received the Frank P. Stone, M.D. Award for Academic Excellence. Dr. Schneider completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand Center, one of the world's leading training centers, and has received additional specialized training in microvascular surgery.
Dr. Schneider understands the importance of conservative treatment and therapy in the treatment of upper extremity problems. He has helped to develop the hand rehabilitation program and is currently the Director of Hand Rehabilitation for Covenant's Performance Centers.
