   A native of Houston, Texas, he attended Stephen F. Austin State University and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1984, graduating with honors and was awarded a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Houston in 1992. Jim was mentored by 3-time Pulitzer Prize winning playwright legend, Edward Albee and Tony Award winning director, Jose Quintero.

   He volunteers his spare time with his favorite charity, Misericordia Heart of Mercy Village and has been entrusted with two developmentally disabled wards of the state or directing a theatrical production for local Chicago theatres.
   
   Jim was Chairperson of the National Association of Executive Recruiters, an organization promoting integrity and education within the search industry, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Association of Healthcare Consultants. He is a national speaker on "Communicating Your Value."
