Retirement Party for George Schneider
On Sunday, April 2, the Northern Kentucky community will honor George Schneider for his dedication and service to educating and coaching young people in our area for 48 years.
The retirement celebration will be held in the Covington Catholic High School cafeteria.The evening will begin with an open house at 6:30 p.m. followed by a tribute at 8 p.m.
"Mr. Schneider's dedication and commitment to Covington Catholic High School and the Diocese of Covington are truly remarkable,? said Mike Clines, principal of Covington Catholic.

George began his career in 1958 as a teacher at Newport Central Catholic High School and went on to teach at Holy Cross for nine years.He spent the last 36 years of his career at Covington Catholic High School as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, athletic coordinator, dean of discipline and attendance, business manager and director of operations.
George may be best known by Northern Kentuckians as a highly successful head coach.Throughout his 19-year coaching career at Holy Cross and Covington Catholic, he became one of the top 10 basketball coaches in Northern Kentucky with 365 wins and 173 losses.His baseball record over 13 years was 209 wins and 85 losses.
