Gary Schneider is the founder and president of Every Orphan's Hope, a mission organization that works in Zambia, which has the highest per capita percentage of AIDS orphans in the world.According to Schneider, "The Christian church is a neither a white nor an African American community.Every person, whether Christian or not, harbors sinful attitudes of the mind."

There is no doubt we as the Christian community have a long way to go in the area of renewing and transforming the racist mindset that has penetrated the heart of mankind, Schneider added.

However, Gary Schneider, President and CEO of Every Orphan's Hope, warned that the battle is far from over.The report also showed that some 2.7 million people worldwide were newly infected in 2007, bringing the total number of people infected with AIDS to 33 million.

"We have seen tremendous progress being made on the fight against HIV/AIDS, but I think even to applaud those numbers might be a little bit premature," Schneider said.
