Chris Scheider started his radio and television career in Casper, Wyoming.He worked overnights on the weekend while still in High School, and was offered the job full time, along with doing local play by play when he was 16 years old.
Before leaving KATI-AM four years later, Chris was Assistant Program director, sports Director and Morning Drive D.J.
Chris left Wyoming for Dallas, Texas in 1987 where he became Sports Director at the USA Radio Network, and evening news and sports anchor at local T.V. stations Channel 39 and Channel 27.
In 1991 Chris left for Los Angeles to work with Jim Lampley, Robert W. Morgan, Charlie Tuna and others at All Sports 710 KMPC.

While there Chris anchored evening sports, pre and post game shows for Rams, Clippers, Angels and UCLA Bruins, as well as an afternoon drive show called Chris Schneiders' Scoreboard.
When KMPC sold, he went to work for XTRA 690 in San Diego and Los Angeles, doing the evening call-in talk show.
From there Chris had the opportunity to start up Sports Talk in Cincinnati at WUBE-AM "The Score" and host a nationally syndicated talk show for the One-On-One network in Chicago.
Chris returned to Dallas to host another nationally syndicated show for Prime Sports, and in 1997 had the opportunity to work in London the the BBC doing an American sports talk show for ESPN International, covering American sports as a reporter and associate producer.
Upon returning to Dallas, before joining KRLD and TSN, Chris worked for the IT Network anchoring news and sports on the Internet.
2001 marks Eric Nadel's 23rd season as part of Texas Rangers broadcasting and his seventh as the lead radio voice for KRLD and the Texas Rangers Radio Network.
