   Australia,based CNC grinder manufacturer ANCA has appointed Jeroen Schmits as its new CEO. He will be responsible to ANCA's Board of Directors for all global business operations and will relocate from the United States to ANCA's head office in Melbourne, Australia. Schmits began his new role at ANCA in November of 2007.
   
   With an extensive track record in international business management, Schmits has had a long career in managing capital equipment companies. Most recently he was president of Universal Instruments in Binghamton, New York, where he focused on sustainable growth based on technology development and world class quality performance. He has degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration and studied and worked in The Netherlands before spending the last 10 years in various roles in the United States.
