Michael Schmits, M.D., a Diplomate in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, has practiced for over 22 years.Over the years he has developed youth treatment programs as Medical Director of Greenleaf Health Systems.He has recently become Medical Director of Cumberland Hall Hospital, a psychiatric facility for children and adolescents.He is currently on the Board of Advisors of this.com while continuing his outpatient practice of psychiatry.
In 1998, Dr. Schmits obtained his Masters of Business Administration from the Coles School of Business at Kennesaw State University.He also has a Doctorate of Medicine from the Ohio State Medical School in Columbus, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Schmits is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and currently resides in Chattanooga, TN.
