Carolyn Schmith

This year's parade marshals are retired North High teachers Carolyn Schmith and Denny Rasmussen.

Schmith worked for the Sioux City Community Schools from 1969 until 2003.After spending seven years at Hoover, she worked as a counselor at North High for 26 years.Currently, she is the outside facilitator for West Middle School and a member of the museum board.
