Mrs. Lise Schmidt

Lise Schmidt appointed Associate Principal of St. Francis School

Lise Schmidt has been selected as the new Associate Principal at St. Francis School in Lethbridge. Mrs. Schmidt has spent the last 21 years at St. Francis as a French Immersion teacher. She is an outstanding teacher leader who is well respected by staff, students and the community.

During her time at St. Francis, Mrs. Schmidt has been well involved in both co-curricular and extra-curricular endeavors. She has served as a Youth Minister in the school, participated in coaching and refereeing and has been involved in various committees.

Superintendent of Schools, Mr. David Keohane commented, "We are very pleased to have Lise as part of the Learning Leadership team in Holy Spirit.

Through her tenure with Holy Spirit, Lise has developed a strong track record as an instructional leader, and faith witness within the school and parish communities. She is a strong leader in Francophone education, and as such will be a nice complement to the leadership team at the school."

Mrs. Schmidt is married and has two children. She is an active member of St. Catherine's Parish participating in the ministry as a lector.

Mrs. Schmidt is excited about her new leadership role in school administration.
