    Steve Schlosser, Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives is responsible for building and managing strategic initiatives for information technology and services.His current focus is on capturing additional federal healthcare business by leveraging core competencies of Apptis to reposition the company in the eyes of our customers.One aspect of this work is the identification, acquisition, and integration of healthcare companies that will add clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle healthcare capabilities to the already-robust IT/infrastructure healthcare business of Apptis.

    From 2001 through 2003, Mr. Schlosser shared his time between business development and business management, leading the development of the contracts, legal, proposal development, and quality infrastructure and capabilities.While he served as Quality System Manager, Apptis transitioned its quality system to the latest ISO standard, ISO 9001:2000; Apptis added a third party customer satisfaction organization to provide independent data gathering and assessment of customers' perspectives and inputs; Apptis received Omega Management's North Face Quality Award, an award that recognizes outstanding customer satisfaction performance as seen through the eyes of the customers; and Apptis launched its CMM initiative.

    Mr. Schlosser joined Apptis in 1998, initially responsible for setting up customer service and out-sourced product fulfillment capabilities.From 1998 through 2001, his primary assignment was to develop, build, and manage solutions-oriented services business.

    Prior to joining Apptis, Mr. Schlosser was a Group VP at BTG, Inc., initially responsible for custom line of PC clones, then running all aspects of the product fulfillment and customer service operation, and finally, business development and sales.His career also includes long, successful, employment relationships with Prospective Computer Analysts, Inc., ManTech International Corporation, and RCA.His responsibilities have run the gamut from marketing, business development and proposal strategy, to engineering design and analysis.

    Mr. Schlosser is a registered Professional Engineer with over 35 years of experience in engineering and information technology.He received the BSEE, MSEE, and Electrical Engineer degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, National Security Industrial Association, and Society of the Sigma Xi.
