Funeral services for Lewis Joseph John Savoie, 55, of Lake Charles, will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.The Rev. Brian King will officiate.Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday in the funeral home from noon until 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until time of services.

Mr. Savoie died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at 9:40 p.m. at his residence after a 40-year struggle with muscular dystrophy.

He was a native of Lake Charles and lived in Atlanta for 10 years and Baton Rouge for six years before returning to Lake Charles two years ago.He was a graduate of Marion High School.
