Lee Roy Savoie, O.D.

Dr. Lee Roy Savoie retired from practice with 20/20 Vision Clinic in March, 2003.Dr. Savoie attended the University of Nevada, SLI (now University of Louisiana @ Lafayette), University of California at Berkely, and graduated from the Chicago College of Optometry with a BS and doctor of optometry degree.He has practiced optometry in Lake Charles, Louisiana since 1951 and has kept current in postgraduate continuing education courses.

Dr. Savoie served in the Army Air Corps (Air Force) as bombardier Navigator on B 24 Liberator (heavy bomber) in the Pacific theatre.He eventually became squadron adjutant, then commander.Semi-retired now, Dr. Savoie continues to enjoy aerobics, camping, fishing, travelling, and keeping in touch with family and friends.
