    Who We Are

    Alan Saucier, Principal

Alan Saucier has over twenty-five years experience in the field of Landscape Architecture. He received a Masters in Landscape Architecture form the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management from the University of New Hampshire. Before co-founding the firm of Saucier + Flynn, Ltd., Alan was Senior Landscape Architect with Cesar Pelli Associates in New Haven Connecticut. As the only landscape architect in an office of over one hundred architects, he quickly honed his collaborative skills. Working in close association with architects and engineers, he developed an understanding of the complexities that confront architects when attempting to create a seamless transition between the building and site.

A natural design talent, Alan directs the firm with his precise and creative thinking. Since the inception of the firm more than seventeen years ago, Alan has served as the design principal. Complementing his design talent is his aptitude for detail and the technical aspects of the profession.

    S. Williams reported that Alan Saucier of the landscape architect firm Saucier & Flynn, which is working with the Town Committee on a War Memorial and designed the new Montshire Museum parking area, would be willing to work with the committee on a parking lot design. For a $500 fee, Saucier would lead a 3-4 hour onsite workshop where he would either build on one or two proposals by the committee or offer an alternate plan. The goal would be to have a working design by the end of the workshop. Saucier would follow up with a summary memo as well.
