Renato Santos has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA in 1998. From 1998 to 2000 he was a postdoctoral researcher at UCLA. He joined HP Labs in 2000 and is currently a member of the Internet Systems and Storage Lab (ISSL).
