    IRON MOUNTAIN - Ted "Torger" Dal Santo, 76, of 1025 Woodward Ave., Kingsford, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at his home.

    Ted served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II.Torger enjoyed all sports, especially skiing.He was recently made an honorary member of the Kiwanis Ski Club.He had ski jumped since his childhood and was active in skiing his entire life.He was also a member of the American Legion Post and 40 et 8.He leaves his twin brother, Tony (Velma) Dal Santo of Tomah, Wis.; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Dal Santo of Sagola, and four nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen Keist of Longview, Texas, Peter (Annette) Dal Santo of Bloomingdale, Ill., Jim (Nancy) Dal Santo of Channing, and Toni Lee (Doug) Halvorson of Cloquet, Minn.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Robert "Susie" Dal Santo.Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.The American Legion will conduct memorial services at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.The funeral service will be at 7 this evening at the funeral home.
