    Jorge Santini graduated from the public school system of Puerto Rico in 1978.In 1982, he obtains his B.A., with honors, from the University of Puerto Rico.In 1987, he graduated from the Interamerican University School of Law, and in 1988, is admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.

    Jorge Santini became an Associate in the prestigious law firm of Miranda-Cardenas & Cordova, concentrating in medical malpractice, manufacturer responsibilities, and torts litigation.He is currently admitted to practice law at the Puerto Rico Supreme Court, the Federal Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

    In 1975, Mayor Santini became a member of the United States Marines Air Cadets Corps, standing out for his leadership, teamwork, and willingness to serve his country.At present, he is Lieutenant Colonel in the State Guard of the National Guard of Puerto Rico, assigned to the prestigious Judge Advocate General Corp.On September 18, 2002, President Bush appointed Mayor Santini to serve on the National Infrastructure Advisory Committee.

    Jorge A. Santini was born on March 11, 1960, in the Capital City of Puerto Rico and is the third of four brothers.His parents are Yvonne and Nicolás Santini.
