Al Santini: Al is the author of Today's Technician: Automotive Electricity and Electronics and is also the author of L1 Prep Guide for Mitchell Manuals.He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Testers (SAT), the Illinois College of Advanced Instructor's Association (ICAIA), the Council of Advanced Automotive Trainers (CAAT), and the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT).When he is not teaching, Al enjoys sailing, camping, and bike riding.Al Santini has been involved in automotive education for 35 years.He is semiretired and is currently teaching technician seminars.Before retirement, he taught automotive electricity and electronics for 22 years at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.He has also taught at an area vocational center and a local high school.

Mr. Santini has been involved in the repair of vehicles or the training of technicians for the 32 years.He is recently retired from the College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, IL, where he taught automotive electronics for 22 years.He holds a Master's Degree in Technical Education, and ASE Master Certification with L1.He is the Author of Automotive Electricity and Electronics 3rd Edition and the Mitchell ASE Prep Guide for L1.He was part of the Master Instructor National Train the Trainer Program from the EPA and the Automotive Technician Training Program (ATTP).
