Dr. Santiago is a Board Certified Pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1989.He obtained his M. D. degree in 1982.He served 12 years as a U.S. Air Force Pediatrician, earning the Air Force Medal of Commendation.He then served as Chief of Pediatrics at King's Daughters Hospital and Clinic in Temple, Texas for two years before joining The Children's Clinic in 1996.Dr. Santiago serves on various hospital committees, and volunteers his time for training pediatric residents and medical students.He was the president of the Corpus Christi Pediatric Society and a member various professional societies.He has a special interest in asthma and allergic disorders, and is fluent in Spanish.His practice is open to new patients.
