Mark Santanna - Vocals/GuitarsMusic had always had an alluring effect on him from a young age.He remembers in his childhood listening to his father playing the banjo.There was always some kind of music playing in the house.Growing up he went to many bluegrass concerts with his dad and although he didn't understand the complexity of what was happening, he sensed that since so many people came out to listen, dance, and have a good time, something special was going on.He loved the crowds and the exciting festival feel of the concerts.

Later in his teens he decided that he wanted to learn to play the guitar.The main reason was so that he could put melodies to the poems and writing he had going on in his head.To him, it was always about the song.In those days he was an angry teenager and in music he found something that allowed him to displace and express his discontent of the established order of society.He started playing with a bunch of friends in an alternative band.During this period he wrote many songs and learned how to perform to an audience.
