Carole Sankary received a Masters Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Hofstra University in 2000.She is currently the Child and Family Program Supervisor at the South Nassau Communities Hospital World Trade Center Family Center a community based mental health bereavement and trauma program for those impacted by the World Trade Center Attacks of September 11, 2001.As the Child and Family Program Supervisor, Carole Sankary has developed unique and integrative programming for children that have lost a parent in the attacks of 9/11.She is also currently on the faculty at Hofstra University in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program and works in private practice in New York.
