Mr. Sandler joined Wilkerson Partners in 2001.Before joining Wilkerson Partners, Mr. Sandler was a General Partner with Behrman Capital, a New York-based private equity firm with $1.8 billion under management, where he led the firm's healthcare and life science investing activities.He managed portfolio investments representing $170 million in capital commitments through board-level positions.Prior to joining Behrman Capital, Mr. Sandler was an investment banker for 15 years, managing over 125 financing and M&A transactions for healthcare and life science companies with an aggregate value exceeding $13 billion.

At Robertson Stephens, Mr. Sandler was a General Partner and head of Healthcare Investment Banking for M&A and financing transactions.Previously he was a Managing Director with PaineWebber Incorporated where he led all investment banking activities involving healthcare, medical technology and information technology companies.As a member of PaineWebber Development Corporation, he managed private equity investments in biotechnology companies.Mr. Sandler began his investment banking career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in 1983.
