Dr. Michael Sandler, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland in June of 1973.After graduation from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, he interned at Maryland General Hospital until June of 1979 and followed with a residency at the University of Maryland from 1979 until 1982.He was board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in October 1983.

Dr. Sandler has privileges at Northwest Hospital Center and Carroll Hospital Center.He started his private practice in Owings Mills after a two year association with another ophthalmologist.In 1993 he added two more locations in Randallstown and Eldersburg and added an associate to his practice.

Dr. Sandler is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland, the Baltimore County Medical Society and Med-Chi and the Pan American Ophthalmologic Association.
